Safety Equipment

The following safety equipment can be found in the both boats.

In the boat boxes you will find

Flares

1. 2 orange smoke for day time use,
2. 2 parachute flares for up to 26 nm offshore at night time,
3. 2 red flares for use when in sight of shore and
4. 2 white flares to be deployed to signal that another vessel is on a collision course.

O2 Kit

When diving an O2 kit should also be in the boat at all times. These are stored in clubrooms and need to be brought out on dives and trips.
